WHAT can you rent?

Whether private or business, you can rent out anything you want. You can equip a self-rent with your own desired equipment. It doesn't matter whether you take the equipment from your own portfolio or are already in the rental business and want to expand your business with an autonomous solution that takes the work off your hands and saves you money. It is important that you offer what is needed in your area. Examples of rental: sledges, snowshoes, tennis rackets, table tennis sets, frisbee, tent, sewing machine, tools, stand-up paddle, inflatable boat, skateboard, drill, gas stove, hiking rucksack, presentation equipment (projector, for example), balance bike, children's toys, bobby car, baby carriage, fitness equipment, party equipment and much, much more. The ideas are open to you. What can't be rented out? Equipment that requires a safety-related adjustment is not recommended. E.g. skis or snowboards, special tools such as chainsaws or circular saws, etc.

How can you rent WHEN you want?

Self-rent works autonomously and independently, 24/7 - if you want. You can set the opening hours yourself, but basically a self-rent can rent out and work for you around the clock. Self-rent is a vending machine. This means that it is ready and working at any time, can be used by tenants at any time and is not restricted to opening hours. This gives you much more flexibility and time that you can use more sensibly for important tasks - or simply to relax.

Why can you rent out WHERE you want?

A self-rent machine can be set up anywhere as it requires nothing more than a simple power connection. No power connection available? No problem either! We also offer battery-powered solutions. For safety, the machine is fixed to the floor or wall, which prevents it from falling over. If you have the opportunity to set it up in a weather-protected location, this is the ideal solution - but not a must. The Self-rent can be placed outside and unprotected without running the risk of the equipment getting wet or rained on.

Braucht Self-rent einen Stromanschluss?

Es gibt 2 Möglichkeiten. Eine Möglichkeit über Stromanschluss, bei der keine App heruntergeladen werden muss. Die andere Möglichkeit ist über Batterie und Bluetooth - in dem Fall muss eine App vom Nutzer geladen werden. Grund ist die Steuerung über Bluetooth, was nur über die App möglich ist. Wir bevorzugen die Variante mit Stromanschluss, da wir somit auch aus der Ferne eingreifen und steuern können, falls etwas nicht funktioniert.

Bei welcher Stelle können Meldungen über Verlust und Beschädigung gemacht werden?

Nach dem Öffnen des Fachs wird der Mieter / Nutzer gefragt, ob alles vorhanden und in Ordnung ist. Er muss selbstständig bestätigen. Bei der Rückgabe wird ebenfalls nochmals nachgefragt. Der Ablauf ist alles beim Mietvorgang integriert.

Braucht Self-rent ein Fundament und einen Sockel (Beton)?

Einen festen Untergrund braucht er, dazu reicht aber ein «normaler» Boden. Auf Rasen muss ein Betonsockel untergesetzt werden, eine Art Betonpalette. Das ist Aufgabe des Franchisenehmers. Die Lieferung beinhaltet einen komplett fertigen Automaten, die Vorbereitung der Infrastruktur liegt beim Franchisenehmer.

Wer ist für den Unterhalt von Self-rent zuständig?

Unterhalt gibt es keinen, ausser ihn gelegentlich sauber halten (abstauben). Die Aufgabe liegt beim Franchisenehmer
